Cell phones have made several changes in the last ten years. Ten years ago cell phones were just starting to be popular. Most cell phones did not even have unlimited minutes ten years ago. As the saying goes, ‘Need is the mother of invention’. Well, these days innovation in technology seems to be driving need as certain newly developed products become so mainstream that being without them can really single you out as being behind the times. With the rate at which technology advances increasing every year, it’s becoming harder and harder to stay on the pulse of cutting edge technology.

Our electronic media gadgets are not only getting smaller, they are becoming more powerful (in terms of computing power), faster (4 Gigabytes is standard now), and have greater connectivity and application processes. In the past, we had multiple gadgets, from cell phones to MP3 players, personal computers, video players, cameras, eBook readers, and so on.
